How To

Chop, Chop!

Thinking of chopping off the mermaid locks and embracing a shorter style? We are taking ‘bobspiration’ from some of the hottest celebrity #bobs in the biz.

What we love about bobs is that they will never go out of fashion. Bobs are perfect for any hair type, age and can be styled to fit anyone’s personal style. There’s the classic chin skimming bob with that 1920s feel, slightly longer and grown out ‘Lobs’, a-symmetric bobs and even, the ‘Wob’; a tousled choppy bob. Wear it in a side or centre part, with a fringe and dye it any colour that takes your fancy whether it’s blonde, red, brunette, ombre pastel or all things in between.

Styling your new shorter locks:

Even short hair can be styled for any occasion we love Lucy Hale’s edgy braided do and its so easy you can do it at home!

  1. Start by applying a smoothing heat protectant such Original Minerals *Project Sukuroi* to damp hair, before blow-drying.
  2. Part the hair down the centre, before sectioning off a 3-4cm-wide area (depending on how big you want your braid) of hair in the middle of your head from your crown down to your hair line.
  3. Smooth and tightly secure the hair either side of this section with a hair tie at the nape of the neck.
  4. Finally, braid the middle section of hair, and secure just above the first hair tie.
