Our prices reflect the educational level of staff and is determined by level of training, practical experience and years in the industry . We appreciate at least 24 hours notice if an appointment no longer suits. This allows us, not only to schedule in other clients, but also to reschedule a more appropriate time for you. A 50% cancellation may apply if there is less than 24 hours notice.
In order for you to enjoy the full value of your experience and to ensure that services are not rushed or other clients inconvenienced, we ask you to arrive on time or just prior to your appointment. You can even enjoy a comforting tea while you wait.
As our appointments are tightly scheduled, running late can cause unnecessary delays for everyone down the line. It is impossible for our staff to honour the full service time if the client is running more than 10 to 15 minutes late. If you are running late, please call ASAP so we can make adjustments to other appointments or reschedule your visit if necessary. We often worry about clients when clients are late or worse they don’t show. We care about you!
Go lighter, drastically change your hair colour, or simply treat your hair from the inside out. Olaplex allows us to push the envelope without compromising the integrity of all hair types. The three-step program works by repairing bonds within the hair shaft. We can add Olaplex to your colour service which adds only an extra 15 minutes to your service time, or try Olaplex as a standalone treatment if your hair is damaged or your hair needs re-booting.
We are green
The Kundalini assistants work tirelessly behind the scenes to collect and separate our waste with the aim to be 95% recyclable. Each time you visit Kundalini a $2 Green Fee will be included in your service bill, which will be used for the collection, distribution and recycling of waste. In turn, this supports many charities such as OzHarvest and other materials are recycled to create new products. Your hair waste is even used to create hair booms to clean up oil spills in the ocean! We think that’s pretty cool.
Post colour Blow-dry (style vs basic)
A Colour Blow-dry is a basic blow-dry that is provided by one of our emerging stylists. It is your most cost effective option, an express service that only takes 20-30 minutes. A Style Blow-dry is a full price blow-dry service. Your hair will be styled to last longer than the colour blow-dry, with more focus on creating volume or straightening and takes around 35-45 minutes, great for a special occasion.
For all hair up appointments, please arrive at your appointment with hair that has been washed and blow dried the night before. Up-styles defiantly hold better on hair that isn’t freshly washed. If you don’t arrive with washed and blow-dried hair you risk not receiving your full service, as this is a very specialised service. Please discuss your options at time of booking.
Trim vs Style Cut
A trim or a haircut? At Kundalini, the difference between a trim and a haircut is only the amount of hair that is cut-off. A ‘trim’ means dusting-off the ends of the hair to sharpen a style. A ‘haircut’ involves cutting off more length of hair. The cutting process is still the same with the desired outcome of reshaping and freshening up your hairstyle.
Change of mind?
Your appointment will begin with a comprehensive consultation with your stylist to fully understand your requirements and expectations. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied, we request that you let us know within 48 hours. We reserve the right to correct any issues before a refund is offered. If you have changed your mind about your requested style, we are happy to help you achieve your desired outcome, at your expense.
