OUR POLICIES

Our polices are here to ensure the smooth sailing of our salon and to ensure you receive the best possible service in a calm and professional environment. Please familiarise yourself with our policies prior to booking or attending an appointment at Kundalini.

 vCONFIRMING

CONFIRMATION
You will receive a confirmation text 72hrs before your booked appointment. We ask you promptly confirm or reschedule your appointment to allow our reception team time to contact waitlist clients if you no longer wish to fulfil your booked appointment. You will also receive a confirmation email reminder. As we are a small business we cannot hold appointments that aren’t confirmed. If you do not confirm your appointment before the 24hr cancellation period it will be cancelled.

CANCELLATION POLICY 
We require 24 hours notice minimum if you cannot make your appointment. When making a cancellation, our reception team will ask you some simple questions to help us find the next available appointment for you. A  cancellation fee will apply for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

YOUR DEPOSIT 
A holding deposit of $50 paid at the time of your booking appointment is needed to secure your appointment. The deposit can either be deducted from the total cost of your next appointment with us or held for your future appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, your deposit will carry over to your next appointment (provided you gave 24 hours notice)! Deposits are not refunded without more than 24hrs notice.

ON ARRIVAL 
Please make sure you arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before your appointment, so we can get you set up in the chair and your stylist has enough time to get familiar with your hair. If you arrive late, your stylist may not have enough time to complete your full appointment. If you arrive early please feel free to enjoy a cup of our signature Comforting Tea while you wait. If you’re new to our salon, we’ll ask you to fill out a form so our stylist can get to know you and your hair needs.

NO EXTRAS 
Please arrive to your appointment unaccompanied. We ask no extra people or children (excluding babies in prams, please notify us when booking so we can allocate you extra space) are brought to your appointment time. We must adhere  to a strict numbers capacity and schedule our books accordingly.

RUNNING LATE 
We worry when clients are late or do not attend their appointment. Please call us so we can alert our team. We allow a 10 minute grace period, beyond this your appointment may not be able to go ahead (in which case your holding deposit will be forfeited) or your full service may not be able to be fulfilled.  We always endeavour to accommodate and be flexible, however we cannot run late if it means we run into the next clients allocated appointment time.

QUOTING
We are unable to provide full quotes over the phone, social media or email. Please ask for a full quote before your service commenced if you do wish.
PRE-BOOK before you leave 
To ensure your next appointment is at a time that suits you, we recommend you book before you leave the salon.

SERVICE CHANGE OF MIND
If you have booked a colour and cut with us and decide you no longer need one of these services, you will need top inform us 24 hours prior.  We cannot hold appointments.

SERVICE GUARANTEE
We do not offer a change of mind “redo” service.  But if it doesn’t feel right you’ll need to let us know within 48 hours of your service and visit the salon ASAP.

HAIRCARE POLICY
We guarantee our service. We take the utmost care with your hair by using the finest no nasties products available.  For these results to continue, how you take care of your hair is important. We cannot guarantee lasting results if you swim, take medication or use unsuitable shampoos/conditioners.
