Yes. In order to check the outcome of the cut or colour and its coverage it is our policy no client leaves with wet hair. You need to book either a blowdry or haircut after each colour service.

If you are having semi or permanent colour your hair must be washed within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. If you come to your appointment without washing your hair in this time frame, coverage and vibrancy of the colour can be affected.

For blondes, 48 hours, as this ensures a clean lift in a timely manner. Kundalini Hair is not liable for a lack of colour coverage or appropriate lifting if your hair has not been washed within the appropriate time frame before your appointment.

Our standard haircuts take between 45-60 minutes. For colour appointments allow 2.5 hours + and for large foils or colour change appointments allow 4 hours +.

We are happy to recommend a salon grade shampoo and conditioner that works for your hair type, lifestyle and/or colour.

For clients with coloured hair, we recommend using a colour-specific shampoo and conditioner to help your colour last as long as possible between salon visits. For highlighted hair, it’s important to use a shampoo and conditioner that’s specifically formulated to protect and nourish blonde hair.

Using inferior products can cause things like silicon build up, discolouration and damaged cuticles. We cannot guarantee our colour work when these products have been used.

Of course. As a Kundalini client, you are not bound to any one stylist. Please chat with our reception team to find the right stylist for you and your needs.

Please call the salon within 24-48 hours of your service. We will then ask you to return to the salon as soon as possible to check your hair and rectify any issues. We not offer redos for change of mind.

There is Wilson parking available right outside the salon as well as under the Hotel Realm. The first hour is FREE underground.

There is plenty of free parking around the Telopea School and surrounding streets, a five-minute walk from the salon.




No. Please arrive at your appointment unaccompanied. We ask no extra people or children, excluding babies in prams, (please notify us when booking so we can allocate you extra space) are brought to your appointment time.

We do not allow extras in the salon. If a child must attend your appointment please ensure you let us know prior to your appointment. Of course though new borns in prams are more then welcome.

  • Noise Level- please keep noise levels to a minimum so that everyone can relax and enjoy their time here. If you bring devices to stream content on please ensure you have headphones with you.
  • Seating- clients who are having services done will have priority seating over any child or visitor.

Yes. Please be mindful of other guests while eating.

Our self service drinks bar offers our signature Comforting Tea, English Breakfast Tea as well as still and sparkling water on tap. We also have a billi hot water dispensary should you wish to bring your own favourite tea to enjoy. There are two coffee shops, Ostani and Maple and Clove surrounding the salon for coffee purchase.


Orders are processed, packed and dispatched each Wednesday.

Yes. Pick up is available each Wednesday.

If your product arrives faulty please discontinue using the product. We ask you to return the product either via post (slip provided) or to our shop front. And It will be replaced.

We do not offer refunds. If your product arrives faulty you will be issued with a gift code for the same value. We do not offer exchanges for change of mind, please do not open, or use a product if you aren’t sure its right for you please contact us for product recommendations.
